Mountains Aflame - Solstice Bonfire

Experience hundreds of solstice fires on the mountain peaks!

Every year, when the summer solstice is celebrated, the mountains in the St. Johann in Tirol region are ablaze. For the "Feia brenna" (fire burning), as it is called here, the peaks of the Wilder Kaiser, Kalkstein, Loferer and Leoganger Steinberge, as well as the Kitzbüheler Horn, are illuminated. Hundreds of mountain fires are ignited on the mountains. This spectacle is both mystical and magical. The fires are lit to enhance the power of the sun and to ward off evil from humans and animals.

Uphill rides continuously until 21:00, downhill rides continuously until 24:00
